Henry Kring first married Elizabeth Reed, she is not named in the 1860 U. S. Federal census. This is obviously a census taker mistake.
The 1860 census records the following people living in the household in Mt. Vernon, Knox County, Ohio, they also misspelled the surname which is also corrected as "Kring" in Ancestry.com.
Henry Rining 35, Margaret King 30, Angeline King 8, Harvey King 6, Charles King and Infant King. The following below is the correction made.

The census taker made an error in recording the names of this family. The mother's name is Eliza Jane (REED) Kring. The oldest child's name is MARGARET KRING, who was born in 1849 in Knox Co., OH.

The 1880 U. S. Federal Census, the family is living in Pleasant Twp. Knox County, Ohio. The census records the following family members.
Henry Kring 48 Self (Head), Eliza Kring 45 Wife, Angie Kring 25 Daughter, Harvy Kring 23 Son, Edward Kring 22 Son, Franklin Kring 20 Son, Johnathan Kring 18 Son, Cora Kring 9 Daughter and Maggie Maggie Kring 6 Daughter.

Note:
Charles Edward "C. E." Kring, he is recorded as Charles in the 1860 and 1870 census, and Edward in the 1880 census.
"Maggie" Kring, listed in the 1880 census is Margaret Mae KRING Hall, wife of John R. Hall

After Elizabeth "Eliza" REED Kring's death in abt. 1898, Henry re-married Martha Penn on May 1, 1901 in Knox County, Ohio. According to the marriage application, Martha's surname Penn, was that of her previous marriage.
