Her death record lists birth as 09 Feb 1920. Census records put 1920 as the possible birth. An extract of her birth record states she was born 09 Feb 1921. I'm going to use that for now.

Kathryn Loraine Hague, age 92, of Blue Earth, died Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at United Hospital in Blue Earth. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 17, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Patton Funeral Home & Cremation Service with Rev. Vic Vriesen officiating. Visitation time will be from 4:00 to 6:00 PM on Sunday and one hour prior to services on Monday at Patton Funeral Home, 400 E. 14th St. Blue Earth. Kathryn Loraine Southers was born February 9, 1920 to Roy and Leona (Washburn) Southers in Trenton, Missouri. She attended No Creek school in Grundy County, Missouri. She moved to Blue Earth, MN in 1936. She was united in marriage to Howard E. Hague on December 24, 1938 in Blue Earth. The couple shared 56 years of marriage here in Blue Earth until Howards passing in 1995. Kathryn was a homemaker, raising eight children along with all the bookkeeping for her husband's business-Hagues Tractor Repair. Chores started early for her, cooking three meals a day from scratch, washing clothes to hang out to dry, then ironing, baking, tending a large garden and canning just to name a few. Her children all enjoyed her homemade pancakes fresh off the griddle with warmed butter and syrup along with many other favorites. She was quite a cook. We will all miss her welcoming smile, her listening ear and her loving patient heart. Kathryn is survived by he sons, Larry (JoAnne) Hague of Worthington, Russell Hague of Fairmont, Steven (Patty) Hague of Blue Earth, and John (Shellee) Hague of Mankato, her daughters, Patricia (Jack) Samuels of St. Joseph, Missouri, Betty Lou Hagedorn of Ely, Lois (Gayle) Ensrud of Frost and Wanda (Alan) Gieser of Blue Earth; sister, Garnett Arnold of Minnetonka, sister-in-law, Ilene Southers of Trenton, Missouri; brothers-in-law, Robert Hague of Fulton, Missouri, Gerald (Berniece) Hague and Burley Don (Marie) Hague of Moberly, Missouri. Special family friend, Barbara Hague of Trenton, Missouri, 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and many niece and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Howard, sisters: Opal (Chet) Garriott, Pearl (Harold) Brice, Hazel (John) Williams, Helen Schwartz; brothers: Charles (Ruth) Southers and Edgar Southers; son-in-law, Ronald Hagedorn, two grandchildren, Terry Lee Samuels & Kimberly Jo Hagedorn, brothers-in-law: John Arnold, Wade (Ruth) Hague, Darrell Hague, Denver Hague, Calvin (Oceola) Hague; sisters-in-law, Lucy (Chester) Simmerman, Edna (Richard) Palmer, Trieva (Art) Simmerman and Thelma (Herman) Boettcher.
