CHELAN - David M. Hart, 73, a 57-year resident of Chelan, died Thursday, April 13, 1995, at the Lake Chelan Community Hospital.
He was born Jan. 13, 1922, in Mount Air, Iowa, the son of Berchel and Dale (Greenrod) Hart. The family later moved to Chelan, where he attended school.
Mr. Hart served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and returned to Chelan after his honorable discharge. He began working for Lake Chelan Fruit Growers in 1946, now known as Trout Inc. He retired after 40 years.
He married Maxine Baumgardner on Jan. 13, 1947, in Spokane. Mr. Hart was a member of the Chelan Eagles No. 2218.
Survivors include his wife, at the home; one daughter, Kathleen D. Hart, Chelan; a brother, Max, Wenatchee; one sister, Helen Haight, Gig Harbor; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
