Price served in the United States Air Force and was deployed to Oslo, Norway.
Price married Linda Louise Tabor, on February 26, 1960. He and Louise had two children Melissa and Greg. They were blessed with one grandchild, Chandler.
Price was a lifelong member of Hebron Baptist Church. He worked at B.F. Goodrich for over 15 years and was a member of the Union. Price loved farming, gardening, raising cattle, and carpentry.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Louise Tabor Doom, daughter Melissa Keown (Steve) of Flora, Indiana, a son, Greg of Eddyville, Kentucky, and grandson, Chandler Keown (Misha) of McCordsville, Indiana. Also surviving are two sisters, Linda Murphy of Reidland, Kentucky, and Mary Kathryn Owen of Kuttawa, Kentucky and two brothers, Jim (Mary) of Owensboro, Kentucky, Dwight (Nora) of Reidland, and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding Price in death were his parents Maxie W. Doom, Anna Lynn Lockhart Doom, brothers Offit Wayne, Will Joe, Kenneth, Rickey, and Paul Doom; sisters Nellie Ruth Thompson and Maxine Carner.
Due to COVID at the family requested a private family service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday at Dunn's Funeral Home, followed by a public graveside service at 2:30 presided by Rev. Terry Davis at Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery for all friends and family. Dunn's Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements. Memorial contributions can be sent to Hebron Baptist Church cemetery fund.
