She was born Aug. 23, 1895, at Swanton, Neb., to Alonzo and Effie (Hagen) Caldwell and graduated from Swanton High School. She married James C. Frantz Feb. 23, 1918, at Manhatten, Kan. They farmed at Edgar, Neb., until 1937 when they moved to Manson. They owned and operated a Manson orchard until Mr. Frantz died in 1953. She has lived at Chelan since 1954.
Mrs. Frantz attended Chelan United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Clarence, Chelan; a daughter, Isla Keeney, Manson; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Precht Rose Chapel, Chelan, is in charge of arrangements.
BEULAH D. FRANTZ - Services will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 a.m. from the Chelan United Methodist Church with Rev. Charles Daniels officiating. Interment will be in the Riverview Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Chelan United Methodist Church. Arrangements by Precht-Rose Chapel in Chelan.

Clarence C. Frantz, 92, passed away at home Thursday, February 14, 2013, at his home in Arlington, WA. Born in Edgar, NE to James C. Frantz and Beulah Caldwell Frantz, he was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and uncle.
He is survived by his daughter, Kathy Glasgow, son-in-law, Lee Glasgow and granddaughter, Kelsey Glasgow of Marysville, WA; nephew, Terry Keeney of East Wenatchee, WA; niece, Trudy Worthing of Malaga, WA; great-nieces, Katie Keeney and Autumn Helling; and great-nephew, Wade Worthing.
Clarence moved to Manson, WA in the 1930's with his family when they left their farm in Edgar, NE. He graduated from Manson High School and worked in the apple orchard industry until he later enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he served in World War II in the South Pacific Islands. In 1947, he married Eula Scoggins and they made their home in Manson, WA, later moving to Lake Chelan, WA. Clarence continued working in the apple orchard industry until retirement, when he and Eula moved to Wenatchee, WA and celebrated 63 years of marriage. In 2009, Clarence and Eula moved to Arlington, WA to be near their daughter and family. Clarence loved the outdoors, where he spent many hours in his retirement gardening and bird watching.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the National Audubon Society at www.audubon.org. Arrangements were assisted by Telford's Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.
