Lillie Mae Bratcher — 90, of Concord, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2007, at Foote Hospital. She was born November 29, 1916 in Piggott, Arkansas, to Elvis and Ella (Long) Baker. On December 26, 1934, she married Eugene Bratcher. He preceded her in death on September 9, 1990. Lillie worked in housekeeping at Albion College for 24 years, retiring in 1976. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, walking, knitting and games of chance. Survivors include daughter, Nelda (Mike) Sheffield, Concord; sister, Wanlea Crank, Davison; grandchildren, Richard (Karen) Sheffield, Concord, Jeff Sheffield, Concord, Terri Lerma, Utah, Cyndi (Chris) Anderson, Albion, Michele McKay, Concord; six great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and several half-brothers and sisters.
