Visitation will be held on Saturday July 9, 2022 from 9:30 AM until service time at 11:00 AM at Shiloh Baptist Church in Sontag with graveside services following in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Richard Green and Bro. Jimmy Smith will officiate the services with Wilson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Margie retired from the Lincoln Lawrence Regional Library after 30 plus years. She volunteered for the C.P.C. for 13 years, she was a longtime member of Shiloh Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and served on many committees. She enjoyed spending time with her family and researching genealogy. Margie will be missed by everyone.
Margie is survived by her son; Ian Douglas (Kim) of Sontag, MS; 5 grandsons and 17 great-grandchildren; one brother Paul Bird (Margie) of Meridian, MS and a host of nieces and nephews.
Margie was proceeded in death by her parents, husband Buddy Douglas, son Thurman Douglas, one brother and 4 sisters.
