Left to mourn his passing are his sons, Elmer Bales (Katrina), Kevin Bales, and Randal Bales. He will also be missed by his grandchildren, Jared Bales, Emily Hines, and A.J. Bales.
Dale proudly served his country in the United States Army, serving in Vietnam, and retiring after a 20-year career in the military. He will be remembered as a "jack of all trades," he loved to tinker around his garage and workshop. He also loved to read his western books.
Friends and family will gather for a visitation on Monday, July 11, 2022, beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 12:00 p.m., with Rev. Mark Webb officiating. Burial with military honors will take place at 1:00 p.m. at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, Williamstown, Kentucky
