arilyn Twiefel went to be with the Lord on May 29, 2021. She was born to Adolph and Selma (nee Keller) Theis on December 13, 1935, in Wetmore, Texas. After graduating from Draughon's Business College, she worked as a bookkeeper for Mass Mutual Insurance. Marilyn married Milton Twiefel on June 30, 1962, and they had three children: Karen, Nancy, and Stanley.

Marilyn was exceptional at cooking, gardening, and sewing, and she dedicated her life to caring for her family. Her friends from the neighborhood and the gym were especially dear to her, but her life-long best friend was her sister, Alice.

In her youth, she raised turkeys and played basketball. She was very caring toward all animals. Shortly after her marriage, Marilyn entered the then-famous and very popular Pillsbury Bake-off and was named one of the ten best bakers in Texas.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Alice (Theis) Hoffmann.
