Dale Tolin, age 94, was the son of Ernest H. and Olive C. (Van Horn) Tolin. He graduated from Clay County High School in 1945 and Kansas State University with a bachelor of science and master of science degrees in Electrical Engineering in 1951 and 1952. He served in the US Navy and worked for Phillips 66 Petroleum Company for 33 years. He married Donna Jean White on June 3, 1951. He married Hazel McCord in 2008; she died in 2021. Survivors include his children, Doug Tolin, Tim Tolin, and Diana Lewis, 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and his step-children, Karen Salge, Steve McCord, Russ McCord, and Linda Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents, both wives, and his great-grandson, Bryce Lang. A Celebration of Life was held at East Cross United Methodist Church.
