Paul R. Anderson, 80, of Flora, IL died at 9:40 AM Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at St. John's Mercy Hospital in Washington, MO.
He was born March 9, 1927 in Marrowbone, KY to John & Vera (Gray) Anderson. He married Evelyn Ruth Rodgers on January 26, 1974 in Flora. She preceded him in death on February 5, 2003.
Paul was a U.S. Army WWII veteran, former employee of Spartan Manufacturing and a member of Faith Luthern Church of Flora.
He is survived by children: Michael Anderson, Paula Anderson, Robert Crego, James Crego, Mary Elaine Steward; sisters: Nellie Mason, Luna Ryan, Sarah Schuler; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son (Marc) and two brothers.
Funeral services were held at Frank & Bright Funeral Home.
Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery, Flora, with military honors.
