Holladay, Utah—Our loving and caring husband, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and dear friend to all fortunate enough to have known him, passed away after a full and blessed life June 21st, surrounded by his devoted and loving family.

Born January 10, 1938 to Edward Winslow Graham and Helen Knudsen Graham. Raised in the home his parents built in Holladay and resided there until his passing. He loved Holladay with extended family close by and many friends that filled his life with happiness and adventure as he explored the Mt Olympus hills close to his home. At 16 he received his solo flying certificate.

Graduated from Olympus High School where he participated on the ski team. Attended Stevens-Henager Business College, receiving his degree in accounting and business management. Served in the Utah Air National Guard for six years.

He was employed as an accountant in the commercial sign/construction fields at various businesses in the Salt Lake area. For the last 20 plus years, owned his own business doing home maintenance repair and tractor service which he continued working in until his passing. He was talented in repairing or building most anything making his home maintenance business a success. Richard had a strong work ethic of dependability, integrity, and respect, just to mention a few of his characteristic traits admired by those who knew and loved him.

He was an avid fisherman, World War II buff, loved being in nature, especially Southern Utah. He enjoyed rebuilding and restoring vintage cars. A farmer at heart, he was proud of his tractors and worked many years mowing weeds and plowing fields for businesses and residential properties along the Wasatch front.

An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Richard had a testimony of his Savior and served in the Cub Scout Program, served a five year mission with the Bonneville Branch along with other church callings.

He is survived by his wife Lynda Butler Graham; his brother Raymond Graham, Honolulu, HI; sister Judy Sitthichai (Tan), Central Valley, UT; sisters-in-law Judy Meister (Neill, deceased), Roy, UT, Irene Butler (Roger, deceased), Roy, UT; eight nieces and four nephews. Preceded in death by his parents and one nephew.

Viewing and funeral services will be held at the Holladay 27th Ward Chapel, 5450 Holladay Blvd, Holladay, Utah on July 7, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. and July 8, 2022 from 9:45-10:45 a.m. with services beginning at 11 a.m. Interment at the Ogden City Cemetery.
