Samuel Oxenford, the 10-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. James Oxenford, died early this morning at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Oxenford, 638 Potter Street. The youth had been ill but one week, having come to his grandparents' residence after enjoying a vacation in the country one week ago. His death has cast a shadow over the neighborhood and his playmates, who were many, were shocked when they learned of his death as at no time had his condition been regarded as serious.
The funeral will take place Monday morning from his grandparents' residence, Mass will be celebrated in St. Michael's Catholic Church and interment will be made in St. Michael's Cemetery.
