Jack C. "Paw" Blankenship, 79, of Asheville, died Saturday, July 16, 2005.
Mr. Blankenship was born in Buncombe County and was a son of the late Horace Cleveland and Mable C. Brigman Blankenship.
He was also preceded in death by his wives, Wilma Rogers Blankenship in 1989 and Geneva Spivey Blankenship in 2002, by a son, Michael Blankenship and by a brother Robert Blankenship. He was retired from American Enka and was a member and deacon at New Salem Baptist Church.
Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
