DAVIS -- Services for Donnie Lee Ervin, 47, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, 2000, at the Gilfield Baptist Church in Davis with the Rev. Ramon C. Melvin Sr. officiating. Interment will be at 5 Mile Cemetery in Hennepin.

Mr. Ervin was born Nov. 23, 1952, at Sulphur, to Fred and Alice Morris Ervin. He died Oct. 30, 2000, in Davis.

A resident of Davis most of his life, he married Gwendolyn Bruner Nov. 14, 1970, in Oklahoma City, and was a member of Gilfield Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Gwen, of the home in Davis; five daughters, LaDonna Ervin, Rozina Newby, Christon Hutchins and Hope Austin-Ezell, all of Ada, and Gabrielle Ervin of Davis; a son, Samuel Ervin of Davis; four sisters, Clara Mae Shirley of Davis, Vivian Williams of Sulphur, Virgie Mae Holmes of Oklahoma City, and Barbara Ann Steele of Danville, Ill.; three brothers, Freddie Elmer Ervin Jr., Oklahoma City, Stanley Ray Ervin of Pasadena, Calif., and Otis Gene Ervin of Davis; five grandchildren, October, Autumn, Tavian, Micha and Nikolas.

Bearers will be Tommy Lee Ervin, Wayne Nero, Allen Ervin, Billy Darrell Hill, Jarrod Ervin and James Williams. Honorary bearers are Freddie Ervin, Stanley Ervin, Gene Ervin, W.M. Shirley, Artis Holmes and Dwain Bruner.
