Jacob died in New Brighton but the system here isn't setup to accept all specific locations on Staten Island. His cause of death was stomach cancer. He died in the Staten Island Hospital which was formerly known as the SR Smith Infirmary. Sadly, this historic & architecturally unique structure fell into severe decay after a developer who'd bought in 1979 went bankrupt. Beyond saving, it was demolished in February 2012.
