Myrtie Ola "Mer" Gray, 90, of Texas City died Tuesday, December 29, 1992 in Texas City. Service were at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, December 31, 1992 at Emken-Linton Chapel with Dr. Terry Ray officiating. Burial services followed at Forest Park East Cemetery in League City. Visitation was Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Emken- Linton Funeral Home.
She was Born on July 9, 1902 in Alabama. Mrs. Gray was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Texas City and was a member of Mrs. Beryl Wages Sunday School Class. Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by her husband, Ben G. Gray, who died in 1981. Survivors include sons, Bennie Gray of Paris, Texas and William Pete Gray of Goodrich, Texas; eight grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons: Ben Gray, Darrell Bell, Wayne Graves, James Bell, Mike Bell and David Lynn Gray. Emken-Linton Funeral Home
