Albina Bellante was called to her Lord Sunday June 26, 2022, at Walnut Creek Kaiser Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony Bellante in 2014 and her loving parents Cristoforo and Anna Svedise.

Albina came from a large Sicilian family and raised in the North Beach area in San Francisco. She was the youngest of seven children and considered her oldest niece, Catherine Lavin, as her baby sister. Her siblings all deceased are Mary, Anne, Salvador, Joseph, Ignatius, and Vincent Svedise. Her three children and families include Bob Hill, Terri Bellante and Michael Martin all have been devoted to her as she was to them. Stella Bellante Hill, Phillip Bellante, and youngest Carl Bellante and three granddaughters Mia Bellante-Ingoglia and husband, Anthony, Stacey Hill-Lee and Husband Thomas and Tonina Bellante. Three great grandchildren Doris Ingoglia, Cosmo Ingoglia and Gia Lee. We are sad that she will miss the birth of her great grandson (Lee) due in October 2022.

Family was the most important thing in her life. She was blessed and adored by many nieces, nephews and their families making for a huge Sicilian family and known as "Auntie Bina". "Auntie Bina" and her late husband "Uncle Tony" hosted many holiday celebrations, especially Christmas Eve. The festivities included generous amounts of home-made Italian foods and cookies. Everyone loved her Sicilian cookies. Family, neighbors, friends, friends of her children all invited. The more the merrier.

The last 9 years of her life she moved from San Bruno to Ivy Park Senior Living in San Ramon to be closer to her children. There she made many new friends with the other residents and staff members. It made life easier for her, so she was free to participate in activities and daily exercise which she enjoyed very much.
