Betty Lou Roman, 77, of Midland, formerly of Stanton, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2022.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel.

Betty was born February 8, 1945 in Lamesa, Texas to Oneta (Hayes) and Opal Langston.

She was a longtime resident of Martin County.

Betty married Elbert Lee Roman III on September 2, 1965 in Lenorah, Texas.

She was a fantastic cook and loved to sew and bake.

She taught for many years in the computer lab and was also a teacher's aide. She retired from Klondike ISD and had also worked in the ASCS offices in Lamesa and Big Spring.

Betty is survived by her son Chris Roman and wife Paula; her daughter Lori Roman Dombrowski and husband Mark; and her sister Glenda Gonzales and husband Manuel; three grandsons: Zach, Jeremy and Tim Anderson; four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lee on May 26, 2020.
