Age 82, of Champlin, MN, died June 25, 2022. Dick was born July 10, 1939, in Mayville, ND. He grew up on the family farm, attended a one-room schoolhouse (skipping 2nd grade) and went to Mayville High School. After graduating from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks with a bachelor's degree, he taught math at Central High School in Grand Forks and joined the National Guard. He attended Indiana University on a National Science Foundation Institute grant and earned a master's degree.
Dick was preceded in death by his Parents, Gilfred and Othelia; and sister, Darlyne Brenna.
