She was a member of Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Ann attended Ohio State University before getting married and moving back to the Fort Wayne area. Ann volunteered at Women's Care Center and various Catholic schools in her free time which was otherwise devoted to being a caring mother, wife and grandmother.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Robert Tippmann; and sister, Josephine "Cole" Thom.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Road, with calling one hour prior. Her nephew, Father Jake Runyon will officiate. Visitation also from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
