Architect. She was a Mexican architect and the first woman to enter the Superior School of Engineering and Architecture of the National Polytechnic Institute of her country. She was known for being the head of the Department of Architecture of the National Institute of Fine Arts. She focused mainly on teaching and the diffusion and protection of the architectural and artistic heritage of Mexico. She was involved in the construction of the National Medical Center, the Museum of Modern Art with Pedro Ramírez Vázquez and the Anahuacalli Museum with Diego Rivera and Juan O'Gorman in Mexico City, the last one being her greatest work.
