Anthony Abriola, 61, of Cozy Lake Road, Oak Ridge, formerly of Lyndhurst, died suddenly on Thursday morning, July 25, 1957. According to state police at Newfoundland, Mr. Abriola, proprietor of Tony's General Store, had been complaining of feeling ill for the past few days. On Thursday morning he left his store for his home and was found by his wife lying on the sofa in the living room. He was pronounced dead by Dr. Harold Sargent who attributed death to a heart attack.

Born in New York City, Mr. Abriola had lived in Lyndhurst for about 40 years prior to moving to Oak Ridge 15 years ago.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Amelia (nee Decher) Abriola; a nephew whom he was raising, Timothy J. Abriola; three brothers, Daniel of Lyndhurst; Rocco of Hewitt; and Alfred of Paramus; and four sisters, Mrs. John J. (Albina) Graziano of Rutherford; Mrs. Daniel (Rose) Damasca, Mrs. John (Mildred) Powers and Mrs. Lucille Wilson, all of Brooklyn.
