Mr. Lawrence William Cornell, Jr. was born in St. Luke's Hospital in Newburgh, New York on January 5, 1939. Mr. Cornell passed away on May 16, 2022 after a long, painful, illness.
Larry, as most people addressed him, was preceded in death by: his mother Lulu May Jefferson Cornell; father, Lawrence W. Cornell; and sister, Laura Burton Morrill.
Larry is survived by: his wife, June Ward Cornell; son, Lawrence William Cornell, Jr.; daughters, Annette Cornell Packer and Sandy Cornell Burger; brothers, Franklin Cornell and John Burton; sister, Elizabeth Burton Roving. Also left to carry on his legacy are many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Larry loved to bowl, throw darts, and do wonderful things with wood.
Larry's inurnment will be at Hill Crest Cemetery, Haughton, LA at 10:00 am, Saturday, May 28, 2022.
