Bonnie Lou Carper, 76, formerly of Smithmill, a resident of Guardian Healthcare, Hillview, Altoona, died Thursday at Hillview. She was born in Huntingdon, daughter of Claude Wippo and Annie S. (Rollman) Carper. She never married.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Romaine G. Hamer (Domer E. "Butch" Hamer).
She was a graduate of Juniata Valley High School and worked for many years as a printing operator for Kunz Printing, Huntingdon and Henderson's Printing, Altoona. She retired in 2018. Bonnie always enjoyed yard sales, picnics and her young nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the noon funeral service Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at Derman Funeral Home Inc., Pastor Tim Young officiating. Interment will be at Burket Cemetery, Warriors Mark.
