JAMES WELLER, 68 passed away unexpectedly at his home in Crescent City on Saturday, December 25, 2021.

Jim was born in Okaloosa, Florida and was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict proudly serving his country with the U.S. Navy from 1971 to 1980. He came to live in Crescent City coming from Pomona Park in 1982. He worked at Georgia Pacific for 15 years and also Seminole Electric as a Training Coordinator. He also worked as a maintenance man for several local businesses. Jim also taught E & I
(Electrical and Instrumental) at St. Johns River Community College. He had earned his 5th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwan Do and loved teaching that art to children. He taught at the YMCA and several other locations as well. In his spare time he enjoyed cooking, camping, family and mountains and the springs.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Lynn Weller.

He is survived by his wife, Suanne Weller; son, Jamie Weller of Crescent City; daughters, Julianne (Jacob) Mauldin of Woodstock, Georgia, Marianne (Corey) Wagner of Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania; a brother, John (Doris) Weller of Canton, Georgia; grandchildren, Lucas and Edward Mauldin, Madison and Seth Sterling, Damien Wagner and Lydia and Evalyn Weller.

His family will meet guests at the funeral home from 10:30 to 11:00 AM on Monday, January 3, 2022 for visitation and viewing, then gather at Eden Cemetery for a graveside service at 11:00 AM with President Taylor who will officiate services.
