A. Myrl Jones
A. Myrl Jones, 71, of 3814 Petty, died at 8:45 p.m, yeaterday in a local hospital after a long illness. Born in Arkansas City, Kan., he had lived in Corpus Christi since 1931. He was a broker with the Dix Real Estate Co., and a charter member of the Oak Park Methodist Church. Jones served on the Church's board of stewards and was a member of the Methodist Men's Association.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Cage-Mills Funeral Home.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Marteel Conrad of San Antonio and Mrs. Roy Allen of Wichita Falls; three sisters, Mrs. Elsie Gaines of Arlington; Mrs. Frances McClaskey of Marietta, Ga., and Mrs. Mildred Crain of California; three brothers, Cedric Jones of Arkansas City, Kennet Jones of Tuls, Okla., and Orville Jones; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
