Mildred was born in McCulloch county near Waldrip where her family worked in cotton farming. In 1917 the family moved up to Post Texas and farmed east of town. She graduated from Post High School in May 1931. She married Vernon Smith Bradley in December 1932 in Portales NM. She married C.H. Wilbourn in 1948...She was a long time cotton mill worker at Postex mills. She had two children, Gerald and David, although David died in infancy...She had two grandchildren Tracy and Cynthia.
