Funeral service for Taylor Ray Stevenson, age 25, of Lindale, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 27, 2022, at Wilson-Orwosky Chapel in Emory. Interment will follow at Emory City Cemetery. Visitation Service will be held at Wilson-Orwosky Chapel on Sunday, June 26, 2022, between 6-8 pm.

Taylor was born on September 13, 1996, to Brian Keith Stevenson and Tracy LeAnne Compton-Smith in Rockwall, Texas. He passed on June 21, 2022, in Lindale.

Taylor grew up wanting to be in the military and proudly served our country in the US Army. Taylor adored his children and was passionate about family. Family was everything to him and if you were his friend you were his family. Taylor enjoyed fishing, sports, music and playing games.

He was cherished by his family and is survived by his fiancé, Destri Laine Danley; mother, Tracy Smith; father, Brian Stevenson; daughters, Marleigh Reign Stevenson, Haizlee Kate Stevenson; sons, Cooper Layne Stevenson, Dax Wayne Miller; grandparents, Larry Compton, Vicki Nix, Barbara Lawson; brothers, Aaron Keith Stevenson, Joshua Ryan Stevenson; sister, Melody Nicole Hart; nieces, Savanna Ferry, Averi and Sawyer Stevenson, Mila Hart and nephews Lincoln Stevenson, Jack Stevenson and Hudson Hart. Uncles and aunts and cousins and so many family members that he was close to and spoke with almost daily that to list them all would be a mile long.

He is preceded in death by his great grandmother, Ann "Nanny" Simmons; grandmother Charlotte Compton and grandfather, Jerry Ray Stevenson and aunt Melody Lynn Stevenson.
