Mrs. M. C. Eubank died Saturday, November 5 at 8:30 a.m., at the home of her son at Santa Anna. Her remains were brought to Goldwaite and laid to rest in the Odd Fellows Cemetery at 2:00 o'clock. Rev. Ira Dance pastor of the Baptist Church here, conducted the funeral services.
Mrs. Eubank was born April 4, 1841, being 86 years of age, in Winston county, Mississippi. She moved to Texas and settled in San Saba in 1884 and in Mill county in 1890. She had been a member of the Baptist Church for 55 years.
She leaves five boys, Robert and Lee of Breckenridge, Pat of Anson, Charlie of Santa Anna, and Ezra of Goldwaite, and one girl, Mrs. H.M. Goza of Jones county, all of whom were at the bed-side at the time of her death.
The Eagle joins the many friends of the Eubank family in offering them sympathy at this sad hour.
