Sharon Faye Watt was born on October 9, 1947 in Tahlequah, OK, the daughter of Mack Flute and Evalee (Sisco) Mannon. Her stepfather, Carl "Coonie" Mannon, also raised her. She grew up in a household with four brothers and five sisters, Ronnie, David, Mack, Nick, Janice, Ethelynn, Regina, Maxine and Lana. Above anything Sharon accomplished in life, being a mother was above them all. This proud mother raised four sons and three daughters, Sherman, Michael, Charles "Duke", Allen "Snow", Faylene, Elizabeth and Alison. Although, she was considered mom to most everyone. Sharon was the model homemaker and wife, always keeping a clean house; able to cook anything from scratch with a home-cooked hot and ready meal every evening before Sonny came home. She was always up for a celebration. Her home was festive and decorated for every season, from decorations on the walls and tables, to making sure her flower beds were in order for the spring. She truly enjoyed dressing up for every occasion and holiday, making sure her attire fit the event all the way down to her jingle bells earrings. Loving all of her family more than they could possibly understand, she was especially proud her many grandchildren and great grandchildren! She was by far, their biggest fan. Sharon was everyone's favorite mom, aunt, and grandmother from the very first time they met her. She was a huge sports fan and never missed the chance to yell for the greatest college team on the planet, the OU Sooners, and on the professional side, those magnificent Cheese Heads, the Green Bay Packers. Sharon liked listening to the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley, but had the privilege of raising a few of her favorite musicians. Listening to them play and sing was a little piece of heaven on earth. When she had a moment to relax, her and Sonny could be found camping, fishing and taking in the outdoors. She enjoyed crocheting things for others in the company of her beloved parakeet, Snowflake. Her home was her castle, and the castle was full of love, and open to anyone that knocked on the door. Sharon was a true and faithful servant of God, reading her Bible faithfully, greeting at the church on Sunday with her trademark smile, living her faith by finding the good in everyone, and never judgmental or cruel. When adversity came to her door, Sharon accepted God's will and still praised His name. The Lord called this good and faithful servant home from her labors on June 15th, 2022 at her home in Sallisaw. She was 74 years old and leaves a void that can never be filled.

She was greeted in heaven by her husband, Roger "Sonny" Watt, grandparents, her mother, father, her son, Sherman Christie, one brother, Ronnie Flute, and two sisters, Janice Gregory and Ethelynn Griffin.

Those left to carry on the legacy that Sharon leaves behind include her stepdad, Carl "Coonie" Mannon of Westville, OK, children, Michael Christie and wife Susan of Tahlequah, Charles "Duke" Ross III and wife Carman of Sallisaw, Snow Ross and wife Daysha of Stilwell, OK, Faylene Davis of Sallisaw, OK, Elizabeth Hayes and husband Rickey "Doc" of Sallisaw, OK, Alison Meeker and husband Joseph of Stilwell, OK, along with Charli Jo Kenyon and husband Matthew and her "white son" Joshua Anderson of Fayetteville, AR. She also leaves her brothers, David Flute of Highfill, AR, Mack Flute and wife Sharon of Russellville, AR, Nick Flute and wife Lisa of Marion, IL, Regina Flute of Westville, OK, Maxine Chrismon of Jay, OK, and Lana Vann of Stilwell, OK. Sharon legacy lives on in her grandchildren, Billy, Skylar, Tyrone, Tommy, Jassen, and Daira Davis, Jeffrey, and Molly Christie, Billy, John, and Tabitha Webb, Crystal Wright, Charlize Ross, Shaden Teehee, Josh, Janaya, Torrii, and Sharee Crittenden, Gage, Trenton, Jimmie, and Makayla Wing, and Daylee Ross. She also leaves 43 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones too numerous to mention. The family feels so blessed to have shared life with Sharon, and wish to thank all of you who have left a kind word, thought, or prayer to help them with this difficult time. Her love of the Lord and others will be a legacy we all hope to carry.
