Mrs. Miriam E. (Becker) Stocker of 1031 S. 7th St., Allentown, was pronounced dead on arrival at Allentown Hospital yesterday. Mrs. Stocker, 53, had been in ill health.
Born in Wescosville, she was a daughter of the late Clinton and Emma (Detweiler) Becker.
Before her retirement in 1950 she had been a waitress for 15 years at the Superior Restaurant, Allentown.
She was a member of Seibert Evangelical Congregational Church, Allentown.
She is survived by her husband, Herman A. Stocker, at home; a daughter, Elizabeth, wife of Michael Osinkosky, of Allentown; a sister, Dorothy, wife of Claude Sturll of Bethlehem; eight brothers, William Becker of Quakertown, Paul Becker of Linwood, Calif., Carrol Becker of Henderson, Nev.; Clinton Becker Jr. of Annsonia, Conn., Ray and Charles Becker, both of Allentown, and Clarence and Russell Becker, both of Bethlehem, and seven grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 Highland St., Allentown. Friends may call 7-8:30 p.m. tomorrow.
