Charlotte Ann Adamson passed away on June 18, 2022 after a long battle with Alzheimer's and Dementia. She was surrounded by her family and went peacefully in her sleep like she had always wanted.

Charlotte Ann Adamson was born to Hamby and Florence Adams on December 4, 1944 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Charlotte is preceded in death by her mother and father, the love of her life Earnest Adamson, her eldest son, Christopher Adamson, and her sister Reba Parks. Charlotte leaves behind her son Keith Adamson and wife Diane of Tahlequah, her granddaughter Brandy Adamson of Stuarts Draft, Virginia, her granddaughter Alyssa Adamson and husband Brett Powell of Piedmont, Oklahoma, Grandson Dylan Adamson and Fiancée Katie McAlister, of Greer, South Carolina, her brother James Adams and wife Pat of Claremore, Oklahoma, brother Leon Adams and wife Carolyn of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, brother Donald Adams of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

Charlotte's grandchildren, Brandy, Alyssa, and Dylan proudly tout that they had the best grandma of all time to anyone who will listen. They share and cherish many memories of their Grandma Charlotte and Grandpa Earnie taking them on adventures to Roaring River in Missouri and to yard sales all over Northeast Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas.

Charlotte was known by her family and friends as a true servant to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Charlotte showed her servant's heart to everyone she met. She even spent her last days hanging on to make sure she kept the special meaning of June 17th the same for the family. She showed her loved ones how much she cared through acts of service like making them crocheted blankets, grilled cheese sandwiches, and their favorite meals, especially desserts. No one ever had to question Charlotte's love for them. She was always available for a visit and her talks were a cure for any ailment.

Charlotte was a proud citizen of the Cherokee Nation. She didn't have a chance to learn the language, but she had an exceptional love and respect for her Cherokee Heritage.

She and her family would like to express many special thanks to those who helped care for her at the end of her time on Earth. First and foremost, thank you to Paulette Wall for being a watchful eye and companion to Charlotte. You will never know how grateful we are for your love, support, and prayers as we cared for her together. Linda Yarbouorough, thank you for being an advocate for Charlotte when she could not advocate for herself. We will be forever grateful for your support during this time. Jonathan Jones, thank you for being a friend to Charlotte and caring so deeply for her well-being while she was with you at Solutions. We had exceptional care at Northeastern Health Systems during Charlotte's last days. We are so appreciative to Connor and Betty, her nurses, for the gentle comfort you provided to us at this difficult time. Thank you to the nurses and staff at Cherokee Home Health Hospice for providing resources that we would not have had without you all.
