Edward Schrantz, the son of John Martin Schrantz and Anna Thomas, was the husband of Vena Alice Stearns (1886-1982), whom he married on 4 August 1908 in Portland, Multnomah Co., Oregon. Edward and Vena had three daughters together between 1910 and 1921: Bernice, Olive, and Frances. At the time of his death in 1967, he was survived by his wife and three daughters.
