Joe David Hall Jr. passed away to his heavenly home on June 16, 2022, at his home with his family by his side. He was born on October 9, 1949, in Greenville, Mississippi to Joe David Hall, Sr. and Marie (Watson) Hall. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Joe joined the US Army in 1966 in Amarillo, Texas. He then was stationed in Germany as a military mechanic. While in Germany he met the love of his life, Gudi, and were married in 1969. Joe served as the Henderson County Commissioner Pct. 1, from 2001-2012. He surrendered to ministry and served at Willow Springs Baptist Church and Ash Baptist Church. He loved the Lord and serving Him. The churches he served and the relationships he built were always very dear to him. In Joe's spare time he enjoyed going fishing with his grandkids, who were his pride and joy.

Survivors include his loving wife, Gudrun "Gudi" Hall; sons, Nicolas Hall and wife Dana, Christopher Hall and wife Tonya, Brian Hall and wife Cheyenne; daughter, Tina Sifers and husband Steve. 21 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held for family and friends at Autry's Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home on June 20, 2022, from 5:00-7:00 PM. Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Autry's Carroll-Lehr Funeral Chapel. Burial to follow at Post Oak Cemetery.
