When Walter decided to become a full-time musician, Martha supported her husband's endeavors and worked with him to build his business as a vocal coach, playing both the piano and organ as an accompanist all the years they were together. She worked as a seamstress creating costumes for her husband's many stage productions as well as helping in the development of many of the stage props that were used in theirs musical presentations.
Their first child, a son, Frederick Ethan Graham was born March 11, 1900 in Omaha, Nebraska.
Martha's family moved to 301 North 33rd Street in Omaha prior to the birth of their second child.
Martha and Walter's second child, a daughter, Martha Waltera 'Pat' Graham was born, April 19, 1912.
Martha and Walter were divorced on Friday, October 13th, 1920.
Martha raised her daughter and put her through college on her own.
Martha never remarried, and she died on December 1, 1944.
