Funeral services for Robert Wayne Anders, age 69, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow at Connor Cemetery with Jason Anders, Cody Anders, Tyrel Anders, Tony Beaver, Carroll Jo Anders, and Will Warnock servings as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Howard Trirrell, Brandon Roberts, Roger Sewell, Rick Gorman, and Kenny R. Beaver Posthumous. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at West Oaks Funeral Home. Robert passed away on June 13, 2022, in Tyler, TX. He was born on August 26, 1952, in Texarkana, TX, the son of Woodrow Anders and Evalina Louise Carroll Anders. Robert worked as a truck driver for over 45 years. He was also a mechanic and liked to tinker on his vehicles. In his spare time, he loved napping and playing with his grandchildren. Robert is survived by his partner of 15 years, Avis Roberts, son, Cory Anders and wife Anjana of Houston, bonus children, Jill Wood of Michigan, Lacey Mangold of Sulphur Springs, Brandon Roberts of Kentucky, brothers, Carroll Andres of Sulphur Springs, Oral Anders of Sulphur Springs, sisters, Linda Gail Pepper and husband Bill of Winnsboro, Christine Beaver of Sulphur Springs, grandchild, Rhyse Anders, bonus grandchildren, Vera Lynn Money, Harper Mattison Mangold, Casey Roberts, Hayden Roberts, Alexis Wood, Marian Wood, 3 nieces, 5 nephews, many cousins, and numerous great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, nephew, Kenny R. Beaver, and sisters, Irene Flowers, and Ernestine Ray.
