Louise Lineberry Roos, age 85, of Conyers, died June 24, 2020. She was born in Galax, VA to Zelmer and Mildred Lineberry. Louise retired after 20 years as a rural route, mail carrier for the Lithonia Post Office. Louise enjoyed gardening, bowling, crossword puzzles and classic country music but most important was spending time with her family, especially her husband, Philip G. Roos for almost 65 years of marriage.
She was a loving wife to Philip G. Roos, mother of two, grandmother of three, and great grandmother of two. Louise was preceded in death by her daughter, Corinne of Stockbridge; granddaughter, Chrissy of Daytona Beach, FL; and sisters, Gladys, Lou, and Patty of VA Beach, VA. She is survived by her husband, Philip G. Roos; son, Guy "Rooster" Roos and wife, Vickie of Covington; grandchildren, Corinna and husband, Craig of Hendersonville, TN, and Stan "Stosh" and wife Brandi Shea of Savannah, GA; great grandchildren, Hayden and Hailey-Rebecca of Hendersonville, TN; and sister, Audrey of Medina, OH.
