"OBITUARIES

Greenlee

George Sam Greenlee, 60, formerly of Rutledge, died Sunday, Dec. 24, in Akron, Ohio, where he had been a resident for 40 years.

An employee of General Motors for 26 years, he was a member of the VFW in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and was a veteran of the Korean War.

The son of the late Ralph and Burt Spoon Greenlee, he is survived by his stepson, Bill Groves of Akron; stepdaughter, Betty Cina of California; three step-grandchildren; a sister, Rose Roach of Rutledge, and brother, Frank Greenlee of Rutledge, and several nieces and nephews.

His funeral was held Friday at 2 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home of Rutledge with Rev. Martin Roach officiating.

Burial was in Greenlee Cemetery."
