William "Bill" H. Adams 75 of Doraville, GA, succumbed to complications due to Pneumonia and passed away 1-31-2017. He was born in Lawrenceville, GA on 5-9-1941. Bill was retired from the City of Clarkeston Police Department after 20 years of service, serving his last 8 years as Chief of the Clarkston Police Department.
Predeceased by wife, Catherine Elaine Burgess Adams.
Survived by son, Mike Adams of Doraville; granddaughter, Stephanie of Doraville; and great granddaughter, Ivy; nieces and nephews. Bill was a loving husband, caring father, and protective grandfather. Bill loved to hunt and fish and will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.
Memorial services Tuesday in the chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Burgess officiating.
