I noticed that on Olville Alder #24053108, there is incorrect information. The part that starts with his full name is...., should be deleted. Ethel Marie McCracken, #92889504 is his wife and not his mother. The other section on the memorial is correct and comes from his grand-daughter and my sister in law.

The information given for Orville Alder is incorrect. He was born in Hamblen, Brown Co., IN. He died in the VA Hospital in Seattle, WA, although his residence was in Kirkland, WA. He had no middle name, but he did sometimes use the middle initial E. His eldest son was Orville John Alder (1924-1992), also buried at Washelli Cemetery. His wife was Ethel Marie (McCracken) Alder. His father was Leonidas Silcott Alder (1859-1925), and his mother was Albina (Settle) Alder (1875-1945).
