Stephen H. Paduck, 75, of Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, died Tuesday at his home.
Born July 28 1926, in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of the late Leo and Mary Paduck. He graduated from GAR Memorial High School in 1944. Prior to his retirement he worked as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Wilkes-Barre. He was a US. Army veteran of World War II, serving in the European Theater. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 283, Kingston, American Legion Post 132, Wilkes-Barre, and the Knights of Columbus Council #302, Wilkes-Barre.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Martin. Surviving are his brother, Frank, Seaside Heights, N.J.; sisters, Emily Dmohoski, Dearborn, Mich., Marian Zalonis, Cary, N.C., and Roselyn, St. Petersburg, Fla.; and nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services will be held from the Nat & Gawlas Funeral Home, Park Avenue and South Street, Wilkes-Barre. Interment will be in St. Mary's Maternity Cemetery, West Wyoming.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wilkes-Barre Family YMCA, 40 W. Northampton St., Wilkes-Barre, 18701.
