She attended St. Mary's Grade School and Cathedral High School in St. Cloud, graduating in 1961. Sue met David Fritz in high school in the spring of '59, and it was love at first sight. They dated until he left for the army in 1960 and went their separate ways until 1966. Dave's mother asked him if she could invite Sue to Easter dinner that year. He responded with an enthusiastic "YES!" They were married that July.
She learned computers at Fingerhut back when a computer filled an entire room.
In Minnesota, she was the office manager for H&R Block which led to her starting her own tax consulting business when Dave's job moved them to Colorado.
She loved to grow flowers in her gardens that Dave built for her. In fact, Dave and Sue won a prize for best yard in the neighborhood.
She loved to sing and participated in choir at school and church. She learned to play the guitar and became a cantor for the Neocatechumenal Way.
She loved to decorate the house for Christmas, Easter, and even the Fourth of July.
Survivors include her husband, nine children, 32 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
