Mrs. Eva Allen, 81, of Bement died at 9:45 a.m. Saturday in Kirby Hospital where she had been a patient three weeks.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Roux Funeral Home in Bement with Rev. Allen Marrett of the Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Bement Cemetery.
A longtime resident of Bement, Mrs. Allen was born Oct. 31, 1882. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. George Renfro.
She leaves a son, Waldo, Farina; three daughters, Mrs. Helen Carlin, Edon, Ohio; Mrs. Georgia Mains, Malibu, Calif., and Mrs. Opal Reigel, Tucson, Ariz.; a brother, Sherman Renfro, Shelbyville; eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Her husband, Herman Allen and a daughter, Mrs. Cleo Lentz, preceded her in death.
