Frances was the office manager for Krukemeier Machine and Tool Shop. She retired in 2002. She was a member of St Mark Catholic Church. She was an avid gardener and loved to can the rewards of her garden, she enjoyed cooking, watching the birds, crocheting, playing cards and mostly spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her quick wit and being funny. She taught her grandchildren the art of playing Bingo for money and also how to play poker.
Frances is preceded in death by her parents, husband William L. Abraham, son Joseph L. Abraham, siblings Fred Krukemeier, John Krukemeier, James Krukemeier, Rosalyn Bailey, Richard Krukemeier and Donald Krukemeier. She is survived by her beloved children Edward R. Abraham, Mary Ann Blazek, William H. Abraham, Jane E. Abraham, Kenneth F. (Pam) Abraham, grandchildren: Sarah, Derek, Michelle, Leslie, Erin, Sam, Diann, Tommy, Jennifer, Billy, Katie, Taylor, Chris and 12 great grandchildren.
The family will celebrate Frances's life with visitation on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, from 4 – 8 PM at the O'Riley Branson Funeral Service and Crematory, 6107 South East Street, Indianapolis, Indiana. Morning prayers will be said Thursday, June 9, 2022, at 9:45 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Mark Catholic Church 535 East Edgewood Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
Memorials in Frances' name may be made to St. Vincent dePaul Society.
