After serving in the United States Army Bill worked for IBM.
At the time of his death he lived on the lake in Onalaska, Texas, where he loved to fish.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Jim and John Cartier.
He is survived by daughter Amy Blok (Justin), sisters Susan Willis (Bill) and Mary Hausenfluck (Stan), granddaughters Lauren Siegmund, Macie and Kinsley Blok, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be Friday, June 10 at 11:00 a.m., Santa Rosa Catholic Church, Andice, Texas. Burial will follow in the Bartlett City Cemetery, Bartlett, Texas.
