She was born in Hollidaysburg, daughter of the late (William) Ivan and Jennie Belle (Kephart) Arford.
Surviving are a sister, Theda Arford; a niece, Susan Arford; a nephew, Reginald Arford; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Clair Regis Arford and an infant brother, William Ivan Jr.
Alma graduated from Hollidaysburg Area High School in 1941. She worked as a clerk at H.L. Green's and McCrory's for 43 years.
Alma was an active member of the former First Church of God in Hollidaysburg and participated in WCSC.
She enjoyed baking, crocheting, quilting, and listening to Christian music.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4pm Thursday June 9, 2022, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 4pm. Pastor Matt Hornberger officiating.
Interment at Alto Reste Park.
