Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Patricia Mae (Miller) Runkle; brothers Dale and Glenn Runkle Jr. and sister Francis Jane Carroll.
A romantic and faithful husband who met his wife as a young child and married her on September 11, 1965. A loving father who provided for his family, by working at Buckeye Steel and retired in 1999 after 32 years. An economical man who spent many a weekend looking for deals at flea markets. He was also an avid fisherman with additional interests in guns, knives and swords. He will be greatly missed by everyone he touched throughout his life.
