Mrs. Barbara Weissback, 74, 825 Grand Court, died Thursday evening in a Topeka hospital.
She was born in Hays, Dec. 4, 1893, and lived in Collyer for 20 years before moving to Topeka in 1935.
She was a member of Holly Name Church and the Daughters of Isabella.
Her son, Edward A. Weissback, was killed in an automobile accident June 8, 1952.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph P. Weissback, of the home; four sons, Norbert Weissback, Lowell, Mass., Robert Weissback, 1021 College, Donald Weissback, Liberia, West Africa and Eugene Weissback, 5409 W. 24th; six daughters, retired Maj. Helen Weissback, of the home, Mrs. Adelaide Penn, 900 Lincoln, Mrs. Annette Kresie, 914 W. 9th, Mrs. Colette Peyton, 901 Grand Court, Mrs. Mary Jane O'Murry, Overland Park, and Miss Karen Weissback, of the home; a brother, Peter A. Dreiling, Victoria; 23 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Brennan Funeral Home.
