On October 29, 1963, she married Thomas W. Edgell, he preceded her in death in July, 1991.
She was a parishioner of All Saints Catholic Church, in Logansport and was a former parishioner of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, in Decatur.
Dona was a homemaker and was a talented seamstress. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her flower beds. She also loved dancing.
Dona was preceded in death by a daughter, Jane Edgell; a son, William Edgell and a sister, Jean Christner.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2022, and on Monday, June 6, 2022, from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m., with a reciting of the Holy Rosary at 3:00 p.m., at Haggard-Sefton-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. Father David Ruppert will be presiding and burial will immediately follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
